I have a 99 tl with 130k miles on it. After I start the car in the morning I noticed that the gears are very hard to shift. When the drive the car for couple of miles its fine. Just in the morning or when its sitting for a long period of time. Its an automatic car. Has anyone had this problem or know what could be causing that? thanks

 

What do you mean hard to shift? as in you have a hard time shifting it out of park into Reverse or drive, or it shifts hard between gears while shifting?
When was the last time the trans fluid was replaced?

 

Its hard to shift between gears only when the car is cold. When I drive it around for a while its normal. Its been over a year since I had the transmission fluid replaced. Could it be that?
