clunk feeling when accel from stop

im hearing and feeling a clunk from the front end every time i accelerate from a dead stop. it never happens from a rolling start or when im very easy on the throttle from a stop. im new to the forum but after a bit of research i've come to only two conclusions... engine mounts or sway bar end links. the car has 320,00km on the clock so any front end parts could be well worn. just replaced front lower ball joints but problem has been there since ive owned it 3 months ago. any help is much appreciated as im becoming very annoyed and worried about this problem. thanks

have you inspected the motor mounts yet?
front is very common failure- every 75kmiles or so
then the passenger side mount fails from taking extra load
finally rear goes and then trans mounts--in extreme cases

look up at the front mount from under the car, for small drops of oily fluid
also most years are vacuum boosted -if line present do a vac ck on it
Have a friend do the in gear- on brakes-quick rev and let off-while you stand next to the car and observe
engine moves more than 1 inch its mount is bad
we have several dealers who cut us a break on prices -front and rear mounts average 150 usd each -retail!
