The good, old mechanical engineering approach worked for me, too. . .just gave it a good thump on the dash just above the clock.

I had the same problem. Also, the light for the trip odometer RESET button (but NOT the SELECT button--or vice versa, I can't remember) was also out. Dealer told me that it would be $100+ to rip out the dash to replace the bulb. I told them forget it. Then, magically, it came back on.

So, I would give the dash a good pounding with your fist.

Every time I get in my car I forget to "wack" above the clock. I'm used to drivin w/ no clock light, it's been out for a few weeks. How much would the dealer charge to replace it? I don't feel like taking everything apart...

Dealer will rip you a new You can pick up a bulb from any acura parts $7.00 to 8.50....very easy to install. I heard looking thru forums install is pricey from dealership.

$150 they are out of their damn mind. I guess I'll do it when I get some free time, I just took apart my dash to install my Blitzsafe adapter for my iPOD and I told myself I would never take it apart again.
