Clarification on information from manual

Hey guys, I'm working on troubleshooting my AC and heating system. I'm following the manual, but I'm a tad confused on a part of it.

^^ it says to check fuses 3, 14, and 58. I've found the first two and they're fine, but I can't for the life of me figure out which one under my hood is #58. Can't find any labels nor any diagrams around.

^^on another part of the troubleshooting steps, I'm asked to check for continuity on PCM Connector A, but I've no idea where that is. I looked at what I think is the ECU (under the radio in the center console, silver box) and the PCM (underneath the right kick panel on the passenger side), but I couldn't find a 32-pin connector. Am I looking at the right stuff?
Please let me know if you guys can see what I'm doing wrong. Pictures if possible of the connectors would be awesome.
Thank y'all in advance!

Doesn't matter if you can't fine the correct under hood fuse. Check them all... Especially the 30A ones. Swap them if there are more than one 30A fuse.

ECM and PCM are the same thing, mounted on the floor under the center console/center floor hump-tunnel, next to the gas pedal.

You can access it without removing the console, both sides... Driver/passenger.

I thought PCM and ECM were different, from reading I did on another thread here. Must have misunderstood the posters.
I noticed that the blower motor connector was melted, so I soldered new wires onto the pins and then just used a twist-cap to connect the blower wires. The heating system worked after that and my Climate Controller stopped throwing error codes! Not that they matched up to what the issue was anyhow but whatever,...
01acls, do you know what the thing on the right wall of the passenger seat foot area is? It looks very similar to the ECM/PCM, and is mounted behind the kickpanel, right underneath the blower motor.

To make it easier you should of disclosure that you have a Premium.

That part is the ABS control unit.

What do you mean by "that you have a Premium"? Is my rickety old '99 TL a Premium model?

ABS control unit huh,.... welp, if (goodness forbid) I ever have to work on it, I now know where it is!

Yes, TLP. I wouldn't call your TLP rickety. A old 99 Honda Accord... Now that's rickety. LOL

Oh don't worry, I used the term endearingly Thing's rattled most of its interior bolts loose over the years but I love it anyway. I actually cried when my VTEC gasket cracked and poured all my oil out on the highway lol
So, are the models then the TLS and the TLP? Or are there three, TLS, TLP, and just the TL? I've never heard of the "Premium" designation.

I actually borrowed my fathers 2001 Accord when my TLP was parked in his garage so I could work on it during the weekends - he babied the thing, but driving it really made me appreciate my Acura when I got it running again!

I rest my case... Rickety.

Basically there are only TLP and TLS but there are 3 variations of the TLP and 2 TLS that I know of. However, there may be others that I'm not aware of.

Huh. I had no idea. I'll have to look into it and figure out which of the variations I've got.

Non Type-S is TLP, plain and simple.
