check engine/vsa/traction lights at once

I figured I would share a little diy story for anyone who has a similar problem. 2 years ago I had all 3 of these lights go off driving down the road. The car started shifting erradically (or holding a certain gear) and I figured my tranny was done. Long story short, the dealership said that it was my throttle position sensor (located inside the throttle body). I paid them 550$ to replace the tb, and my problems dissapeared. 60k later, I have the exact same problem and I'm thinking that I am about to blow another 550 on it. I had already planned on pulling it apart to clean the IAC for an unrelated idle problem, so I decided to just clean the throttle body as well. There wasn't too much carbon buildup, but I shot every black area on the tb and IAC with carb cleaner and scrubbed it with a toothbrush. I unplugged the battery throughout all of this. It has been over a week now, and no lights have come on. My car also idles perfect. Hope this helps someone. I also hope my light doesn't come back on, but hopefully I'm in the clear after a week.

Exactly. I tried to let the iac dry out a bit before reinstalling it, as the carb cleaner gets inside of it where you cant wipe it off. If you need more detail let me know. I did this in March and my car is still running well with no warning lights.
