Question check engine & SRS?????

SRS light came on and check engine after I rewired my sidemarkers and blew out my small light fuse...so but I did replace it but when I was looking for that fuse I pulled out the turn light fuse when the key was turned to on but the car wasn't on then I went to o'riellys and erased the check engine light but didn't seem to take the srs light off how can I take the srs off???? And what does srs mean?

SRS = Supplemental Restraint System

Do you have an owner's manual?

See the DIY sticky for a video about resetting it: https://acurazine.com/forums/2g-tl-1999-2003-98/new-official-2nd-gen-tl-diy-thread-706083/

If it comes back on take it to the dealer for a scan as the airbags won't deploy.

try the video first.
these era hondas have sketchy SRS systems.

you can also try disconnecting the battery for a while and see if stuff resets.
Make sure you have the radio code for when you re-connect the power.

since you were working on electrical there is a good chance its a false light
reset per our procedure here in the diy section
https://acurazine.com/forums/showthread.php?t=706083

If it comes back on- there is a real problem- we have a special 10 year 150kmiles srs warranty that covers most of the parts that fail
worth a trip to acura

all others: if you get SRS red light and have not been working on the car= proceed to dealer,,you have no airbags while red light is ON

Yea, it's plugged into nothing. Just a fake switch. Kind of a funny place to "hide" it lol.

Reminds me of the "clock backup" fuse.
