Check Engine or O2 censor?

Check Engine or O2 censor?

my check engine light came on after i put in my k&n filter.....i also swiss cheesed my airbox....is this the cause my check engine light to came on?? cause other than that, my car is runnin 115K strong!!

We have no idea. Did you pull off a sensor while doing this? Bring the car into a autozone and get the codes read

putting the filter in wouldnt cause it. either its a big coincidence that it came on just after or you happend to damage a sensor or accidentally unplugged something. Reinspect every thing under the hood and look. Also unplug the "clock backup" fuse on the passengerside dash fuse panel for 10 min then replug it in. that will reset the ECU and clear the code. If ti comes back on there is a problem
