I know the type of oil everyone uses has been discussed at lengths, but I was wondering if it were a major deal switching between the brands??? I usually go with Mobil 1 syn, but Advanced Auto has 5qrts Valvoline Synpower and a K&N filter for 26 bucks... is it an issue swapping between brands? Has anyone used Valvoline? I was thinking of switching to the Royal Purple anyhow, but just wanted to see what y'all thought. thanks

There will be NO issue switching

 

Might want to do a SeaFoam engine treatment right before the oil change. Not to prevent any problems from switching, but would be a good time to do it.
