code says rear bank 02 sensor.
is there a difference between the 02 sensor on the jpipe and the rear cat sensor?.
AAP has the part for 80.00, cheaper than acura.
but they don't list 2 different 02 sensors.
also...would the code show the 02 sensor when it is really the cat converter?.
the car has 130k.
think it is a bad idea to buy an 02 sensor for Advance auto parts?.
i'm hoping to just replace the cat converter 02 sensor and fix problem...but it's never that easy.
any input would be greatly appreciated.

most that they sell are universal that are designed to be bought in pairs. Buy the oem one. And yes the rear bank is the rear one. (and they do have different part #s, not sure how different they are)

 

do you know if an "expired" catalytic converter will throw a different CEL code than this
rear bank 02 sensor code?.

 

it usually shows a p0420 (if i remember right)
