CD Won't Eject in 6 CD Changer
I have a problem that started today on my 2003 TL. I tried to eject a CD, and its giving me an Er-E1 error everytime I try to eject the cd. I tried to turn it off, tried it again, but no go. Anyone know how to resolve this problem, or do I have to go to the dealership so they can rob me of $$$ to fix this?.....I wouldn't mind taking it apart if needed. Please Help!....I'm living on IPOD music for now....
Thanks in Advance!

Hit eject..........Then with a credit card in hand slide it into the opening above the stuck disk and push down on the stuck disk. This all has to happen while the servo is trying to eject the disk(happens pretty quick). Otherwise a good sharp bat with your fist might work.

I had the same problem with my 6 disc. Take a pen tip and lightly press the tip directly centered on the flap. Keep trying and it will work! This will not cause any damage at all.

Thanks for the suggestion it worked. I think I'm going to eventually replace this unit...anybody have an ideas on what would make a nice replacement with ipod capabilities. I was searching earlier, but couldn't really find one that fits the TL just right. And is it possible to continue using the steering wheel controls?

Mine is doing pretty much the same thing. ER-E1 code, but there's no CD stuck in the slot. I was about to try and put a new one in when it happened.
I've tried the credit card method as well as a "forceful" pat to the acura logo, as someone in a different thread suggested.
Any other suggestions?!

I mentioned the pen trick earlier but try this exactly......take a pen, press on the center of the flap and hold it. As you hold the pen, keep hitting your CD button even though it will change automatically to the radio, tape, etc. If this doesn't work, its TOAST LOL.

Dude, this worked like a charm! It took about 3 seconds worth of work.
Thanks!

Also, on another note with the Bose stereo, my sub seems very loud. Too much thump. Is there a way to turn the sub down?

Dude, my flap was stuck open too.
Use the pen, gently push it down to the closed position. Then apply gentle pressure in the middle while hitting the CD button.

OK, so I got the flap closed. When I try the pen trick nothing happens. I just keep getting the er-e1 code.
I know the changer is empty but it shows all slots full. Any suggestions? Somebody previously suggessted that the system would eventually check all the slots anf figure out they are empty. So far though that hasn't happened.
