I think this might be a good suggestion, why don't we do a poll to see which brand of Cd-r's will play in our 99-01 TL's, and then after a few weeks we can get a percentage and find out which brand works the best.

I thought of this since theres like a million post about which Cd-r's will work with those years. So everyone with an 99-01 TL thats had this problem and found a good brand list it....

 

i used the sony cds on my old 99, it always worked, and use acoustica mp3 to burn em.

 

This has been done and discussed before. It varies from car to car and cds. Not all teh cds come from the same batch/ place of manufacturer, so what may work one time may not the next time due to manufacturing facility

 

I understand fsttyms1 but I just wanted to get an overall percentage so when new members do gamble with blank Cd-r's at least they won't waste to much time/money buying numerous brands.

sony and fujifilm work pretty good for me

 

just buy a 02-03 cd player, ill prob be sellin mine soon when i install my aftermarket system.

 

All of my burn cd's (many brands used) work in my dash CD player (have Acura cd changer as well) which was burned at 4 X.
