car just got towed. Is this the tranny problem?

Hey guys,
I have a 03 tl with 44k miles on it. So im driving in d5 and when i press the brake i feel the steering wheel thumping. i get home and check it out. when i just turn on the car and not touch anything the engine goes thump thump thump thump. So i put it on reverse and it makes a click click click click. then i put it on d5 and open my hood and everytime i switch to d5 the motor jumps up, its moves a whole lot. Lastly i just park it in the garage. and by the way there were no warning lights on YET. Then i call roadside. and they said the tow truck is gonna come. So i turn it on, the engine took like 10 secs to start up when it usually takes 2 secs. so i put i in reverse and go out the garage again and then i put it on d5 and press the gas pedal and the car just rolled backwards and the enigne sounded like it wanted to stall, then finally the tcs light came on and the engine light was flashing. what is the problem?

Sounds like all kinds of different problems!!!. #1 possible battery-#2 bad motor mount-#3 idle valve-#4transmission

Get it to the dealer and go from there, sounds like your freaking out. your symptom descriptions are all over the place- make sure you have the dealer note each individual concern and address each one individually. Most likely it will all narrow down to one or two logical causes. Dont get you panties in a bunch

Wait don't pay it yet. If you can see if your local shop can fix it. If acura says $2000 then you could probably fix it for $1000 somewhere else or talk them into $800.
