It will probably cost you an arm and a leg for a factory Navi unit. Have you considered getting a Pioneer touchscreen aftermarket DVD unit? They have them with inputs for reverse camera and bluetooth built in etc. Probably for about 700 bucks. That and a good alarm system.

It'll probably be cheaper to convert your car to a non-navi now although there is a deal in the BM, if he hasn't sold it yet.

check out the for sale thread...there's a guy selling the pioneer I was talking about for 500 bucks. Not a bad deal for adding features like backup camera option...bluetooth...GPS...ipod interface.

You'd have to buy another navi screen and any harnesses that is damaged. You can still turn on your ac, just it'll be on auto mode all the time.

 

Yeah the navi screen is not that expensive but the wire harness is $450 from the dealer. Once i turn the AC i can't control it, it stays on high.

 

It's not high, just auto to what temp you set it at.

 

ive seen so many of the navi screens on ebay for 100-125 shipped its sickening..

idk why everyone thinks its expensive... the UNIT gets pricey.. the screen its pretty cheap for what it is...

That sucks bro. Sorry to hear your incident. I would suggest Ebay or craigslist to be your best friend, they would have the Navi and harness probably.

Glad I have just regular CD player in not Navi. Someone really need that Navi for them to take that and not the changer in the trunk.

 

I live in NYC and some a$$ stole my right side skirt a few months ago.. it is time to upgrade my alarm. I need to move out of NY too.. can't have anything nice living here. Someone will come along and try to steal it.

Those were some stupid robbers...Do they have your Codes too? I didnt think it could work without the codes. Unless they know how to hack, but if they know how to hack then they would have stolen something else. That must have been an initiation thing for gangs.

 

OK, Try to buy your Navi screen from company call LKQ on ebay an ask them if you can get wire harness that is connect on back of the Navi screen.(They should be able get it for you) If that don't work just try find a junk yard an cut out wire harness you need.
