Can't reset SRS light

I jumped the SCS pin to get the cause for my SRS light and it came back as 15-3 (OPDS sensor). Service manual says to reset the code, but I cannot get the light to reset using a jumper on the 2P connector.

I have tried the following:
- Place jumper on 2P connector
- Turn ignition to ON
- SRS light goes out
- Disconnect jumper
- SRS light comes back on
- Reconnect jumper

Then nothing changes, the SRS light remains on and does not go out again as I was expecting. Am I following the procedure correctly?

Check the "DIY" video procedure again for resetting the SRS light. Maybe ya missed something along the way, IDK....but if it did go out and came back on, then ya may have some sort of actual problem. Just try going through the reset again to make sure.

from my understanding, the light will flash 2 times if the system is clear, and 3 if there is still an issue. Chances are you took too long to reset the jumper, I believe you have to do it under 4 seconds...

^ This is why its easier to use 2 separate wires. Its easier than trying to get them back into the connector if you just are able to touch them together.

I ended up hooking up a switch to the end of two wires and that did the trick. Thanks guys!
