K, I run synthetic oil right now, but acura owes me a free oil change because they screwed up on a service call.
So my question is will I screw up my engine if I take this free oil change with regular oil and then after 3000 km, diy my oil oil change back to synthetic?

 

Not at all. There was a thread regarding synthetics vs. regular in general here. Might not want to use regular oil for more than 2000 miles.

On a side note, if you switch from DOT 3/4 brake fluid to DOT 5, don't switch back. JIC.

Not true. You can switch back and forth. Why you would want to??

Ask your dealer to put in syn instead and you just pay the difference.

 

Hendrick Acura I dont even think offers regular oil just synthetic.
