Regarding a 2000 Acura TL, 160 K miles.

When the air conditioner is on. And when driving the car to a slower speed.
it sounds like the engine is beginning to stall.

The a/c still blows cold air

Is anyone familiar with what this problem may be.

ac causes extra load

egr port system cleaned?
spark plugs etc in reasonable condition, under 70kmiles on them?

 

Yes, the spark plugs have less that 60k miles on them. Also, the car past smog test without any problems.

Could this be the a/c pressure switch.
