Question a/c problem after high water

I live in Houston and had to drive through some pretty high water yesterday afternoon. After driving through the water, my a/c quit blowing cold air. Any ideas what the problem might be?

Talk about long time readers, first time posters.

Your car can help you with the diagnoses. Turn the car on to (II) accessory mode. Press and hold the Auto button. Press and hold the Off button. With both of these pressed and held, wait for 1 minute. The temperature display should start flashing. Different segments of the "88" will light up. Those segments correspond to different problems.

Can someone pull that diagram from the service manual?

Check your fuses, especially the ones that protect the cooling fans. They draw a shitload of amps when they try to circulate water.

gredorydavis, which fuse was this? i'm having the exact same problem. Went to OC, MD over the wknd and fri night, there was a crazy thunderstorm and i was driving in flooded streets. Sounds like my fuse blew out too. Now A/C Compressor wont turn on.
Can you please specify which fuse was it that you changed? # and location (hood, driver's side or passenger's side)?

Thanks in advance!
