Broken Mounts ok Transmission

Hello, i have a 1999 acura 3.2tl so i've had this transmission problem since last week. As i was driving to and from miami when i shift in tiptronic mode there is a delay in-between the gears and the entire car jerks hard. but when i drive it in regular automatic the car shift perfectly fine mainly cause i dont drive it as hard. The transmission fluid needs to be changed as well.

after i took my car to 3 different mechanics. the first mechanic said my front mounts are broken and the engine is jerking and pulling things that it should not. so they would have to go in and replace the: (i found all the parts on this website with the list of parts he gave me at the mechanics cost for me of $395) my cost would be $315 if i got the parts))

http://www.acuraautomotiveparts.org/...s=&view=normal

RUBBER ASSY., FR $98.47
RUBBER ASSY., ENGINE SIDE MOUNTING $84.77
RUBBER ASSY., RR. ENGINE MOUNTING (ECM) $154.38
RUBBER, FR. TRANSMISSION MOUNTING $35.56
RUBBER, RR. TRANSMISSION MOUNTING $19.14

mechanic 2 said all my mounts were broken and thats all the information he gave me (he was a dickhead) the last mechanic said i needed to replace the entire thing for $2grand i luaghed as i walked away.

so my question is. is mechanic one right about all the listed parts?

haha, i think mechanic 2 might be dicking you, and i think mechanic 1 could be trying to rip you off. but anyways, i dont know the condition of your car, but if you want to check. inspect all the motor mounts. you can see if the rubber is falling apart or whether it doesnt look like it's doing the trick anymore. i inspected my side motor mount a few days ago, and i can see the rubber in the middle coming off (definintely needs to be replaced).

Typically only the front and side mounts fail If you have been driving on bad mounts long enough its possible you have damaged the rear and trans mounts.
