Brake Proportioner Valve

My '99 TL is in the shop to get it's brake lines changed and I got a call saying that the proportioner valve (some little part mounted on the firewall) ended up breaking. Acura no longer sells the part and he said he couldn't find any aftermarket ones for my year. So, does anyone know if I could take one off of a '99 accord or newer (02-03) TL or some other car and have it fit right in? Or do I have to find a parts car and remove this little thing?

Just a quick check on Ebay and you can find one used for $23.20 or new part number 46210-S04-852 or 851 new at Naples Acura in Naples Florida for $110. Not too hard to find. Just do a Google search for even more places.
