For some reason whenever I press my brake, the damn emergency brake light comes on. I tried pressing and releasing the e-brake but it doesnt make a difference. Any suggestions?

 

Wiggle the float inside the brake reservoir up and down and see if the problem goes away.

I have the same problem but for me it is when the car is cold, when I leave in the morning. But it will stay on for @ least 30 mins (the duration of my commute). Is the same as yours?

 

Try whats posted. Also check the fluid level.

 

Wow. I've been having the exact same problem too. Only when it's cold out and when I first start the car. I'll have to check the fluid and float as stated. Thanks.

 

Although mine hasnt done it in awhile thats what mine would do. In the mornings when I would start it up and and it would be cold out this would happen. Sometimes it would stay on for a bit or sometimes just come on when I break but if its not cold in the morning it wont do it. For some reason its getting cold again and it stopped? So as long as its working I guess im not going to question it.

 

I have that same problem when it's cold out.......
