"Brake Lamp" light on.... Help!

I recently got my car back from the shop after the quarter panels were replaced from a hit n run. I asked the shop to get me 02-03 tails instead and he agreed since it was the same price as the 99-01. I know that s bulb socket will be loose since the housing is different. Is this why this is happening? Since the connection is not solid on the Left turn signal.... is this causing my light to come on? pls help! It is annoying to see service lights on.

I had the same problem, could be the brake fluid cap is on wrong. Also make sure the wires arent twisted or being pinched

typically that light comes on when a brake lamp bulb is out... generally when i get that indication, i'll go to a store or something, back the car up and look at my brake lights in the reflection of the glass. maybe they put a bad bulb in? that would be the first thing i check before anything else. they are 7443 bulbs and are about $2-5 a pair at local auto shops.

it was a bad bulb at 1st and i did replace one on the left side... and now all bulbs are good. I havent checked the 3rd light yet tho. So its not that loose connection on the blinker then right? Ill check the brake fluid cap but i read somewhere here that the "brake lamp" light is for the tail light not the brake fluid reservoir. thanks for the infos guys

if you have an oem spoiler you might not have a bulb in your third brake light (behind the bose sub) mine didn't. changing the bad bulb should take care of the brake lamp indicator. it has nothing to do with the braking system. just alerts you when one of your brake lights are out, turning signal bulb should not trigger it.
