Angry Bottomed out..

Uggggh im so pissed.
Ok im currently on tein stech lowering springs. Today I HAD to drive over a big ass speed bump, then while i was going super slow bammm my car bottoms out and hits the speed hump. As it bottomed out i heard metal just scratch/grind.

Once i drove off the stupid speed bump my car sounds like a civic with a fart can. Like you can hear me from a block away. Im hearing the noise more from the front end of my car.
What do you guys think I messed up?

broke something off the front of your exhaust?might be possible the cat broke off from the front end piping but it still held up by brackets or something. Thats the first thing that came to my mind.

Yep, sounds like part of the header or catalytic converter has a hole in it now.

since, we cant inspect the car over the internet, you will have to inspect your car yourself.

find the part that is broken. Obviously.

^ agree, look under your car and see if you can see where the exhaust is leaking from. "IF" i had to guess, the first thing i would say is the Flex joint.

^^ well your right! It was my flex join that i cracked.
I went and got it inspected, they told me they will weld a new piece on there for $45.

Shouldn't I just replace the whole thing?

If it ain't broke, why replace anything more than until ya have to ?
That's a really good price on repairing the flex joint, let them fix it and go from there.
