Question Battery and Brake lights

Hello guys,

Yesterday I noticed that both the battery and brake lights came on together in the middle of the ride, after starting the car the lights did not come on. Today it happened the same thing except that they were on for about a second and then turned off.
Anyone have an idea what could this be?
No CEL yet.

**UPDATE**

Took the car to AutoZone, they told me the Alternator is not charging the battery, I'll need to remove it to get it fixed.
Is there a DIY to remove the alternator?
Would it be better to fix it or definitely replace the whole thing?

I was thinking about asking Santa Claus a new alternator but I guess he's not in the auto parts businness hehe

It is more convenient to get a rebuilt one and replace yours. or you have to take out yours for them to rebuild.

Go to an auto parts store and get a new/reman alternator. and pick up 2 new belts while your at it (odds are yours are original? )
