ball joints

Have an 03 TL-P with 13,000 miles. I have noticed a squeal/squeak noise from the front right suspension when the wheel is turned or the body is moved. I figured this was a dry ball joint and was going to grease the ball joints. I noticed that the bj's appear to be sealed units - with no grease fitting or provisions for installing one. A check with the Acura shop manual says very little about the BJ's much less about any maintenance or lubrication - other than a BJ is to be greased BEFORE installation. Doing a search on this board, I see that others may have had a similar problem and the offending BJ's were replaced. Question 1) I presume that these are sealed no maintenance ball joints, 2) that there is no lubrication provision for these units, 3) that 13,000 miles is a short life for a ball joint. Is there a problem with the Acura ball joints, just happen to get a bad BJ, or am I overlooking something?

in order to grease teh ball joints, they need to be seperated, and the boot pulled off and repacked with grease.

It could be other things, like a sway bar bushing/endlink, or a shock

While at the Acura dealership picking up parts, I mentioned the squeal and asked that they check it. After 45 minutes of looking, they said that the right strut had failed, and that they would replace it under warranty. Thanks to everyone for their suggestions and help.

ball joint

I had mine replaced in June because in dry weather and driving over bumps it was making noise. It solved the problem for me.
