Got my control arm out and the old ball joint out but how do i install the new ball joint? Its wont seem to go in being so tight! what tools do i need to put the new ball joint in? Thanks

 

Go rent a ball joint press from Advance Auto Parts.

 

may big parts stores have a free loaner tool program,
you do have to leave a security deposit ~so the tool gets returned~
and they give back all your deposit

see vids online for actual install help--tips on making it easier

 

How did you get the old one out? They are pressed in. You need to press the old one out and press the new one in.

 

He probably used the jack trick someone posted a while back

 

I posted using a jack and a wrench to separate the balljoint from the knuckle, i havent seen a way to get the actual ball joint out of the control arm though.
