Well how was your driving? Did you WOT a lot? At the halfway mark I usually get between 120-130 miles.

Hmm in that case, I'm not sure what would be the cause of this. Some things I can think of are not using 93 Premium fuel, vac leak, maybe needle is inaccurate. However I'll let someone more knowledgeable chime in, because I really am unsure.

What you can do is, go fill it back up to full, and see if it does it again.

how fast does it usually go down?
is the drop new? new sticky tires- wide tires..

going slow hurts mileage- the TL needs some rpm -- 2500-3000 to be in the powerband for upshifting

what else has changed- work done on the car?
tire pressures?

70 for half a tank, so 140 miles on a full tank of gas? if that's accurate then i'd say you're running very rich.

All I did to the car is..remove intake resonator, lower car with ff1 coilovers..and i did use my heat here and there but I still feel like I should get more than 70 miles on a half tank..

chances are its a false reading

many have come on here with the same complaint,,only to find the rest of the tank lasted closer to its normal ~300 miles to the low fuel light (3 gal remaining)

I would seafoam the gas for sure, ck a spark plug or 2, replace if over 60-70kmiles on them, use NGK Iridium

Seafoam the TB, ck engine air filter and tire pressures

back when I got the new suspension and tires,,a few tanks were used quickly ~in the testing~

that cool sound it makes with the res removed means you are in vtec,,stop that!

are you running the correct NGK spark plugs? about 8 dollars each?

how did you seafoam?
manifold vac method with the after drive to blow out the crud = eats a lot of fuel

expect lowered mileage as the cleaning process continues thru a tank.

DO the gas tank method of 1 can to just under half tank

a year old engine air filter can be restricted
ck the cabin filter for proof of that!

My , ive tested my car multiple times. My TL is a damn gas guzzler with CITY miles, but with HIGHWAY miles its great. Just going 14miles city miles, constantly on the gas and brake knocks off 2 notches of gas for me. I pump premium also, Yea it sucks but theres nothing i can really do about it with city miles. Just gotta deal with it

Wierd my TL do 22 to 25mpg on City, But then Again my Engine isnt quite Stock.

But it wasnt a Gas Guzzler even when Stock.. Did most of the time 19 to 22mpgs.. My Reserve (When Gas Light comes On) is Insane I do like 55miles with it.

thats not enough seafoam --you want `2 ounces per gallon of fuel` for cleaning strength
= 1 can to just under half a tank of gas/ 8 gallons

and midyear run 1 oz per gal as maitenance dose = 1 can in just under full tank

manifold vac port 1/3- 1/2 can
