Cool

Did you try to open the door from the outside? With the child lock on, you can only open the door from the outside, even with the doors unlocked.

I had a similar problem, I found that the door pin some how seized up (got tight) tru pushing and pulling the pin. if you get the door open remove the panel and lube it with silicone grease or any other lube spray, dont use wd40 unless you like the smell of it in your car.

Sorry. Let me try this again. The door had opened from the inside, but not from the outside, due to the fact i had let my cousin use the car and she has kids. When i push back down on the safety lock to unlock so that i may open the door from the outside . It would not open from the outside nor the inside since that morning.

I think?? You have to remove the inside part of the lock mechanisn(the door lock handle) poke around there is an actuator of some sort that is stuck.

There is a thread somewhere on this issue, will try searching. If I find it I will post the link.

You'll have to get a new headlight housing. I don't think anyone sells the front cover.

Bulbs you can get pretty much anywhere. AZ vendors or ebay is fine also.

Go to Sylvania's website to find the bulb # for your car.

As far as color, 4300k is stock so 5000k or 6000k should get you the deeper blue you want.

I suggest looking through the DIY page:

https://acurazine.com/forums/2g-tl-1999-2003-98/new-official-2nd-gen-tl-diy-thread-706083/

There's a HID Removal DIY there, very easy.
