So i have a V1 (Valentine one) and i've had it for about 3 years.. It powers on and shortly after that, it turns itself off.. I have it hard-wired, and sometimes it works fine and sometimes it decides it doesn't like me.. Anyone ever experience this? I checked the website and i seem to have the latest version software. I don't know what the crap is going on with that thing.. I have checked all the wiring and everything was good..

 

If your wiring is good, then it sounds like a issue with the V1. Get rid of the hardwire chord and use the cig cord and see if it still does it. it will verify what is wrong

 

I checked it out.. All my wiring is good.. I'm using the wiper fuse for power and I've got a good ground.. I have had the V1 for years, i don't have the cig cord anymore.. Could it be that my unit is just old and needs servicing? I wonder how much that's gonna cost? Any other ideas?

 

well if the wiring is good then the only other thing it could be is the unit. Call val1 up and talk to them about getting it serviced
