Andy's does suck.....I went thru a similar situation, they charged for a rear lip...it wasn't in stock...tried selling me the sarona rear, didn't want it. They charged my card anyway, and it took me about two months to get my money back.

Do a search....you'll find some stories about Andy's on here. I agree, they should definitely have their advertising pulled form all car mags due to the lack of customer satisfaction.

Its just hard to believe that they can stay around with this sort of reputation. I think the best thing to do is for us to start a petition to send to all of the car magazines. The only way I can see getting enough signatures is if the forum mods for all of the forums on acurazine were willing to post a stick regarding the petition. I would be willing to donate my time on this as I am extremely pissed off. If we got around 1,000 signatures, I would send the petition to all import tunner mags, AS WELL AS all major advertisers that advertise in those mags that sell or specialize in acura parts. Really it is more of a boycott. We boycott those mags until they remove Andys, and boycott all vendors that advertise in the mags. Do you all want to see how fast the mags pull andys adds when ALL of their vendors call them to bitch about Andys??? Dont think we can make a difference, give me 1K signatures and its a pretty strong message that there are probobly ALOT more people who didnt have the opportunity to sign or know about it. I dont have alot of posts, but I enjoy this board, now LETS SHOW THOSE MOTHERFUCKERS TO STOP FUCKING WITH PEOPLE ON THIS BOARD, OR ELSE WHAT IS THE POINT OF THIS BOARD. Its not like its just me bitching here MODERATORS, it is alot of fucking people. Now you have a pissed off attorney who is ready, willing and able to spend some time on this, can we get all the moderators on all the acurazine boards to push this? Or are we going to have to keep telling people, oh sorry you should have done a search and seen that you were going to get fucked?

Anyds auto sport does suck. About 4 years ago my sister bought a body kit for her 94 eclipse. The fiberglass was complete SHIT. It did not even fit on the car, there was 3/4" gaps in the rear bumper, side skirts and front bumper. They never replied to phone calls, emails, or even to the BBB. BBB said they couldnt do anything, they got no response, and it was $2k wasted.

So I got a call from some dork at Andys and he left a voicemail at my firm asking for the emails I sent to them cancelling the sale. So FUCK I didnt save them since it was like 6 months ago, so I sent this back to them today:

This letter is in reference to a message for an Andy’s Auto Sport representative, which was left on the voicemail for my direct dial on August 7, 2006. In that voicemail, your representative asked for copies of emails which I sent, cancelling the transaction.



Please be advised that since almost half a year passed since I cancelled the transaction, and assumed it was clear that the transaction was cancelled, I did not keep the emails. You should note that although I did not keep copies of the emails, in Texas, I will be able to testify about the fact the emails were sent as well as calls I attempted, and the contents of the emails. I doubt a jury would have a difficult time taking my word for it, with the fact that I ordered the part from another dealer due to Andys failure to respond, that it took half a year for the part to be shipped from Andy’s, and that your report from the Better Business Bureau contains numerous complaints similar to mine, which would be admissible at trial.



In short, my offer to pay to ship the item back to Andys in return for the full refund of the purchase price still stands for the remaining time of my thirty (30) day demand. After that time, I will have no choice but to file a lawsuit for breach of contract against Andys, seeking breach of contract damages, as well as all attorney fees. You should not that my attorney fees to date are $481.25, but of course this amount increased with the time necessary to spend working on the file.



Again, while I would like to avoid filing suit over something that can be resolved this easily, you should be aware that I am a litigation attorney that has no problem filing a lawsuit over this matter. I am sure there are many other customers who would be more than willing to join in such a lawsuit. I would seem much more beneficial to resolve this matter now, as opposed to after it has become necessary for Andys to pay extensive litigation costs to defend the matter once suit is filed, as well as paying my attorney fees, which if the matter went to trial, could be in excess of $10,000.00. UPDATE: ISSUE RESOLVED

I got the following letteer from andys after my second letter, please excuse the spelling, this is a OCR text conversion from a pdf file off my fax server. In a nutshell they agree to take the return and waive the 33% restock fee, I eat original shipping costs and re-ship costs. I would call that an acceptable comprimise. Here is their letter.
