Alarm keeps blowing "stop" fuse......??????

First post. Heard good things about this site. Finally I signed up!

I don't know what's going on but whenever my alarm goes off it blows the "stop" fuse which is located in the fuse box under the hood on the passengers side.

2 fuses have been blown so far. When I blow the stop fuse, I cannot shift out of park and my brake lights don't work. When I replace the fuse, everything is back to normal. I really have been trying to avoid getting the alarm set off but I really just want the problem to be settled with.

Also, my horn doesn't work. I have plugged up my battery to my horn and the horn goes off fine. I believe the problem is either with the connection between my steering wheel and the horn or the actual steering wheel since cruise control doesn't work either.

Is it a factory alarm or aftermarket?

Does the horn work when you press the button after replacing the blown fuse, or does that also blow the fuse?
