Air Mix Motor replacement

My Air Mix Motor crashed. 99 TL. I have a new one but can't get it installed. I know it takes 3 screws but I can figure the correct orientation so it attaches to the 2 controls arms. Hints would be great...like does the electrical connector face the cabin.

Thanks so much.

The electrical connector faces the cabin. The 2 little dowels go in the slots for the 2 control cables. Just move the control cables until the dowels align with the slots. Put the 3 screws back and connect the connector.

Air Mix Motor

Thanks for the help but I'm still having trouble.

I'm thinking that I'm installing it in the wrong place. I cannot align the 3 screw holes in the new motor with the 3 "plastic studs" that are on the heater box. Presently, I'm trying to install it to the right of center and it doesn't seem to fit there at all.

Does the motor maybe go directly above the metal box that sits almost exactly in the middle of the dash on the floor. I'm guessing that the box is the computer. If so, did you remove the box to install the motor.

This thing is killing me. It looks/sounds so easy but I can't get it right. I hate to cry uncle and take it to the dealer. Luckily, it's not too cold here yet.

Thanks again.

Never mind.....I'm a dumb a$$. I didn't remember about the bracket that holds the motor unit in place. All is good.

Thanks for the help.
