My side air bag light has come on a few times. Any one have experience with this?

 

I've had the same problem since the car was new. The dealer couldn't fix the problem. As soon as I get the wiring diagrams I intend to fix the problem.

 

THe side air bag light comes on if there is something or someone sitting in the seat leaning to teh side. Its to tell you that the air bag has been disabled. It explains it better in the manual

 

Side airbag light or the srs light?


If its the SRS I would never have left the dealer with the car till they fixed it. If that light is on NONE of your air bags work, and they shouldnt have let it leave with out getting fixed.
