On the way back from the track last night, the MIL came on.

Got it scanned earlier today, and it's P0135 again for like the 4th time in 2 years of modifying. I'm sick of this.

Just felt like venting.

P0135 -- primary O2 sensor heater circuit malfunction.

So yeah... I'm gonna try cleaning the sensor first. It might just be the carbon deposit from running rich. I was recommended cleaning with a dry toothbrush, just brushing off the carbon deposit, and also recommended using some type of sensor-safe cleaner.

I personally don't want to get any type of chemicals/cleaners/solutions in the sensor because that could ruin the sensor itself (right now, it's just the heater circuit that is messed up). What do you guys think?

yeah clean it first, it's basically free before buying a new sensor

Thanx, but I am already aware of that. Alot of people on this forum however have been using MIL when talking about the service lamp; Hence the additional clarification.

P.S. Moved to problems & fixes, and please refrain from profanities in the thread title
