Question After my Comptech Ice Box Install....

I'm seeing a check engine light on all the time. I took the car to the dealer cause I'm hearing a huming sound in the engine bay. The dealer said it's coming from the back of the engine manifold. They loosened the oil cap and the noise went away, when they tightened it back the noise came back. He used a needle nose pilars and squeezed the Pc valve plug and the noise went away. The mechanic at the dealer said that it's something that has to do with the Ice Box. It's getting more air than normal. Does that make any sense?

That is strange the ice box should be quite. After installing a short ram you will get that same humming sound.

The humming sound isn't coming from the icebox. It's more like a whistling noise I should say(more or less). The mechanic at the dealer said it could be that there is more airflow to the engine, but I haven't heard anyone else have a write up like this because of the icebox install.

Go to AutoZone and have them read the code. Then report it back. It's easier to tell you how to fix it if we know what the CEL is for.

Its not because teh ice box is allowing more air flow to the engine. Especially at idle. there is something else thats causing it
