How much modication do I need to do in order to make CAI from a 2001 CLS fit a 2000 TLP?

 

1 - It's gonna be too short at the throttle body end. I'm gonna guess about 4" too short since the 01 CLS has the TCS throttle body and the 00 TL does not.

SOLUTION: Get a rubber coupling and about a 4" piece of 3" diameter T6061 aluminum tubing the make up the difference.

2 - The piping is the wrong diameter. The CLS throttle body opening is 3", the 00 TL is 2.75"

SOLUTION: Get a 2.75" rubber coupling from an autoparts store to connect the 3" piping to the 2.75" throttle body (yes it will fit if you stretch it enough)
