Advice for self tune up please.

Ok I usually bring my 99 TL down to the dealership to get service (free oil changes help) well its starting to get too expensive for me. I need new brakes, replace my air cabin filter and flush my fluids (Power Stearing/Brake). I'm a do it yourself kinda guy, so I would like to change my front brake pads. Any advice? Is it difficult?

I read about the cabin filter here a while ago, but could use reminder directions.

Any assistance is greatly appreiciated.
