acura tl-s 03 headlight
My Right Xenon lamp is not working. I replaced the bulb and thats not it, should i replace both the igniter and the ballast or there is a good chance its just the ballast. The biggest question, how do i get to the headlight? Should i remove the bumper to get to the headlight or is there an easier way? If i do have to remove the bumper are there any sensors that i need to be aware of? thank you in advance for any help
First you Have to take the bumper off to get to the headlight and the ballast etc..Its not really that hard there are many DIY on this forum, its mostly clips and a couple bolts. As for the Ballast (its actually called an inverter) i would first test it, by hooking it up to the other headlight, after that you should be able to determine its ifs the Ballast or Igniter. If it is the ballast you could order one online and its not that expensive. I got mine for 180 shipped brand new.
