Today hot day upper 90s F. Not sure if this affected anything.

Remote entry did not work. When I unlocked the car by using the key I was able to get in. Alarm led next to lock pin stopped blinking.

When I turn on the car the alarm goes off all lights start blinking. The car does turn on, but I did not let it run for too long to see if the gas has been cut off. When I turn off the car it stops. I tried a different set of keys same issue. I changed the battery on the remote. The car does not respond to the remote. When I press the unlock key the led on the remote turn on, but nothing on the car end moves.

Any ideas on what this could be. I will attempt to disable to hood sensor next time I am next to the car.

Any suggestion will be appreciated.

Usually its the hood latch thats faulty on these cars causing all your problems.

Either replace it or disconnect the hood latch sensor/connector and you will be good.

Keyless entry, locks, etc...will work normal.
