Thumbs up Acura Service Bulletins and Fixes (many)

Unfortunatly, Due to copyright laws i had to remove the links. I also removed the subject due to the fact that loud whispers no longer comes on here, and i dont have any of the links to teh TSBs.
Sorry for any inconvenience.

Thanks Loud_Whispers...very nice. Are these all the TSBs for '99-'03?
If not, is there a site where I can find all TSBs for '99 3.2TL? Thanks very much.

they are all of the ones that you would really need, others are paint codes and special tools for our shop. None really that would benefit you or to help you fix your car by yourself.

I would need to link all of you to these bulletins since they are located on our ISIS terminals. You need a DPTS ID and passcode which technicians and service advisors at dealerships recieve. We are the only ones with access to this information.

Customers recieve info about each bulletin, but we have access to the repair procedures. Customers do not unless requested at their local dealership. But i can give you all that you need to know right here.

I also retrieve anti-theft/Navi codes. I can tell you which parts are covered under base/Acura care warranty and if your covered or not.

cheers.

there is also a sticky on the Gen3 Forum titles Service News.. I listed all of the Service Newsletters every month from 1995-2005.. alot of informative articles..

Most articles are service bulletins in themselves.. Lets you know alot about your car. Even if it applies to an integra, alot of problems and fixes supersede to new TL's or even MDX's.

good luck and thanks for the feedback.

Thanks very much for directing me to the Service Newletters. Don't think I would have discovered them otherwise as I've only been looking at 2G
section. That's a lot of reading but very informative. I guess all car companies put out "newsletters" like this do they? Do service techs have an online chatroom where they can discuss problems/solutions amongst themselves? Thanks again!!

Your welcome..

Yes, these are letters put out for all of the techs and service advisors to read and they often do come in handy. The service letters and service bulletins are written up by our Honda/Acura Tech Line.

They seek feedback from Honda Technicians all over the country. People share their experiences and fixes with tech line and they then share it to the whole network to make everyone's job easier and far more accurate. If they recieve enough reports from our techs of a certain problem with a certain model vehicle, then American Honda will issue a Service Bulletin or if involves your safety, a "Safety Recall"..

And no there is no chatroom, just information sent back and forth through Honda/Acura tech line.

CD Player not working

Loud_Whispers,

no it dose'nt read Error. It takes the CD's and then spits it out like after about 5 seconds. I have'nt noticed any message though.

We want Loud_Whispers back. He is providing the good info, and someone are just arguing with him , flaming him with their lame personal reasons. Just use his info and justify them with your own experience. If it is true, use it. If it is not, then use your own. He appears to be gone now.

Hi Loud_Whispers,

For some odd reason, I am unable to send you a PM for the links to the TSB's and fixes that you mention in your post.

Would you mind emailing them to me? anthony.tsiouklas@tvratings.com

Thanks,

Anthony

I dont know. I dont have teh TSBs. If your brake light is coming on and going off check your brake fluid and the float on the brake cap. Make sure that it is free moving and isnt getting stuck
