AC Not Working After Coolant Flush

AC Not Working After Coolant Flush
..is it a coincidence and just fluked out, or did something get messed up during coolant flush?
Just a week ago I tested it out and it worked fine (I cycle using my AC even during winter), however, today after a coolant flush, I noticed it doesn't blow cold "ac" air, just regular fan. It only 'seems' to blow cold "ac" air when it's at 18/60, but not when i'm at 22 let's say (which it used to when it was working).
I can hear the fan engage when I press the AC on/off. I tried doing the self diagnose with the Auto/Off and no 88 errors displayed. The regular fan seems to work fine for all ranges of cool/warm temp too.
So my question is, did something happen during the flush? Or is it just a coincidence that it died?.. After some reading here, does burping have anything to do with it?
Thanks!!

Unlikely. It might happened before you performed coolant flush. It can also be a helluva coinkidink lol.
AC compressor, two things to check
1) mechanical parts- freon gas, ACC clutch, hoses.
2) electrical parts- connector, fuse/relay.
Easiest part would be checking freon gas, ac hoses and fuse/relay.
Go pop up the hood!

did you open the heater and do a correct acura method burp?
has the outside air temp dropped--ac operation depends on that temp

When I burped it the first time I didn't have my heater on, so I will try that. If that doesn't work I'll have to investigate a bit more, but hopefully this can correct the issue. A read up quite a bit from similar post in other threads by you 01tl4tl, thanks for chiming in!
Outside temp has remained more or less the same the last few weeks. I even set the AC/fan on max for a few min but wasn't getting chilled air.

Just tried it out again this morning, still no luck (or so it seems..).
It's weird, it almost seems as if when I turn on AC it blows warmer air than if I just use the fan. Some background info is, current outside temp for the past few weeks is 7 deg (up in Canada), set it on 22 deg. AC off - cool air, AC on - warmer air (not pressing recirc air either).
I'm stuck.. any ideas?

Ok, so after taking it to a mech for a quick overview, says everything seems fine. Still nothing showing on the self diagnose Auto/Off technique. But here is where I'm confused-
Before-
Temp control would work fine, cool is cool, warm is warm. But whenever I would press AC on, it would start to get chilled regardless if I was on 18 deg or even 22 deg (like my post above).
After-
Temp still working, cool/cool and warm/warm etc. But now the AC will only blow 'chilled' air if it's at 18, but not if it's at 22. Hence my initial concern thinking it was broken.
The mech said that the latter is how it is supposed to work and perhaps something was wrong before. I always thought that by pressing the AC it would 'override' the temp and just be chilled (within certain degrees). But it looks like for the AC to work it has to be set at the 18 deg mark?
I know this may be really stupid, but if someone can explain it through that'd be great. Was it working before and not now? Or was it faulty before and correct now?
Thanks!

did you do the burp?
the temp controller has to be set low enough for the 2 cabin temp sensors to see need to use cold ac,,happens on my car too,,wife leaves temp set up 4 degree f more than I like or can get cold to blow out the vents--differance between outside air and cabin plays into the figuring the computer does~
The mixer door blends vent air with temp controlled air--that motor or door can have a movement prob-stick
got anything blocking those cabin temp sensors- a dash cover/mat?

Yep, did the burp earlier today. Let it run with heat on, cap off/on. Drove around after a while and topped off fluid. Noticed no overheat or change in engine temp..seems normal.
Verified my sensors (sun and cabin) were clear, aside a few dust bunnies which I cleared out.
By having the AC on does it give the true temp? ie. if I set it on 22 with AC on, it will give me actual 22 deg. Whereas if I just use the fan and set it at 22, but since the outside temp is cooler, it will draw in cooler air giving me a false 22 deg? If that makes sense lol..
I think I'm confusing/stressing my self out more than it sounds haha

Maybe your mixer door was stuck before and only blowing the chilled air. Now if the mixer door is working properly, you will get air for the temp that the thermostat set on. Besides blowing chilled air, the a/c will also provide drier, dehumidified air, which is useful for defogging the windows. Thus, it is perfectly normal for varied temps even though the a/c is on, depending on the thermostat setting.

Thanks for the input guys. After talking to a few other people as well, it looks like most likely before was an issue and it seems to be operating how it should be now.
I guess because I was used to it before I thought that was the norm. I'm still just a tad bit unsure, but most likely it's ok. I'll do one last basic test of comparing my AC/temp to my other friends ride and then call it a day.
Thanks again for the input!
