AC Motor Bad???

Alright when i turn on my AC and i have the fan set on high the motor is not quiet at all it sounds as if the AC has an exhaust of it own on there i mean its not REALLY REALLY loud but its loud enough to notice something is wrong and its really pissin me off.....i dont know if anyone else is experiencing this problem but it sounds like if its comin from behind the air cabin

i doubt its a leaf stuck in there because this has been happening for a while and im pretty sure the leaf would've gotten chopped up by now

Does the air exit the selected vent outlets? Perhaps the vent selection or mix door is mispositioned or loose causing noise. It's a major job to access the heater/AC mixer case behind the dash. You might try manually cycling all the vent and mix options to hopefully reposition the door correctly.

Other possibilities are evaporator partially blocked w/ dirt/leaves. This will cause reduced air flow and abnormal noise.

Something blocking one or more vent outlets, pushing too much air from remaining outlet.

good luck

yes the air is exiting the vents...there does seem to be a loss of air flow the air isn't blowing out as hard as it should i think im gonna have the dealer take a listen if anything......thanks for the info man i think it may be the evaporator being partially blocked thanks alot
