AC/Heater Issue...

I have a 1999 TL.

My AC/Heater seems to only blow out by the feet area.

I will put it on defrost and about 80% of the air flow stays down by the feet.

It does not switch the airflow to the center vents above the Nav screen either.

The airflow from the vents by each door seems to be fine. (The adjustable ones, not the ones that air should blow out of when you switch to defrost.)

Anyone have any idea what is causing it not to change where the air blows from?

PS. I searched the forums and didn't come up with an answer.

Seems the A/C Motor Vent Selector is CAPUT! Its the same as the A/C Air Mix Motor (Look for my DIY) but its located somewhere else.

I found your DIY thread.

In post #9 you talk about the Mode Control Motor.

Thank you.

HERE is a nice site that has an exploded parts list for the 1999 TL.
