'99 TL isn't Turning Over--Immobilizer Key is On
Hey! Got a tricky one! So everyone knows that there was a recall on the '99 Acura Ignition switch. A previous owner has already replaced it with the warranty, but because the key wasn't coming out of the ignition. I've been having the same problems everyone has with their '99 TL's not starting--car will try to turn over but won't fire. Battery was replaced two weeks ago and testing it shows the battery is fine, battery cables are fine, gas is fine, car won't turn with a jump start, no fuel injector problems, transmission is brand new, new alternator, new starter... And I'm not sure what's going on. Just replaced the ignition switch and nothing changed at all.
When the green immobilizer key turns on, the car will start. When it's off, it will crank and never fire. No clicking noises or irregular speed of the cranking, just not starting. Jiggling the steering wheel or the key won't work. Shifting into neutral won't work, and jiggling the shifter while in park won't turn the green key light on either. The green light turning on is random, and has no correlation with how long my last trip was, how long the car has been sitting in park turned off, and nothing to do with weather, temperature or humidity. The green light is utterly random.
Could this be a fuse? Do I need to replace the part of the ignition where the key goes in?? Please help
Appreciate ya!

I only have one key.. I thought about interlock maybe, but my sensors are showing me that I am in park and neutral when I try to start the car. And an interlock problem doesn't seem like it would be affecting the car to only start when the green key light comes on. I know the immobilizer light coming on is supposed to mean that there is something wrong, and that's why I'm confused that the car will only turn over when it's on. Faulty wiring or a fuse issue?
