i have a problem i have 99 tl but i put in a 01 swap with all the harness from the 01 cluter shift box and ecu ,, already got the key programmed for the ecu and it already turned on fine the last problem the a have is that the D5 is blinking and it wont go in to triptronic and when i put it on d5 it feels like its on its final drive but when i put it on D2 it moves with power but i have to shift it manually ,,, does this car uses a seprate ecu for the tranny???? by the way before dropping the swap in my car i tried it in the 01 it drove like new on 55k on the whole swap

 

is everything connected electrically and mechanically? make sure your not hitting anything while trying to get into teh tip tronic mode

And im assuming you put in the 5 speed trans as well?? Have the codes read. there has to be a code. It will help narrow down whats wrong.
