So I picked up a used set of 9005 HID's and they work great, very bright. The problem is that they don't turn off. With the high beam switch off, they are still on. No matter how many times I try clicking back and forth, the highbeams won't go off. I can't drive with my regular HID and Hi beam HID on all the time, so I took them out for now.

The regular bulbs work as they should. MY HID 9006 work fine. Is this the way they were designed or is there a problem? Any help is much appreciated. These might be for sale in the BM cheap if there is no solution. Thanks in advance.

 

how did you wire the ballasts for the hids?

 

It was plug and play. I'm not very good with "wires" so I don't know what is what. So maybe the previous owner modified it so they are always on? If I took a pic of it would that help at all?
