2003 acura tl lower control arm bolt

2003 acura tl lower control arm bolt

so the meatheads before me put the lower control arm bolt in backwards? don’t even know how they could manage that but here’s a pic…any tips on how i can get this thing out??? working with hand tools atm too lol

I'm pretty sure that is the correct orientation because there is only one way that bolt can go through the rear beam.
If you look closely, on your car, at the location where the red arrow points there is a 'nut' welded to the rear beam to receive the male part of that bolt.
With that said, simultaneously, you need to pull the front lower arm flange bolt as far out as possible (making sure it is not threaded into the welded nut) and push the yellow arrow lower arm in the direction indicated to swing the bolt head outward.
This should allow you to barely work the long flange bolt out of the inner bushing part of the LCA.
It's a bear to do; but, doable., lol.



Confirmed by the OEM parts graphic below with the purple arrow.

much appreciated i thought about doing this but i guess at that point i was losing my strength lmaoo going to take a stab at it today after work, literally the last thing i have to do then i can send her to a body shop. bad pic but if you zoom in you can see where frame is banged in
