So I replaced the ballast for my headlight on the driver side all went fine. But now when I turn the lights on and then back off the driver side light wont come back on, but if you let it sit for 1hr or so it will turn back on. Any help on this plz thanks.

 

Was there any moisture present in the old ballast or connections ? Was the replacement a used unit or brand new ?
Did you remove the front bumper cover for better access to the assembly ?

If new, check all the wiring connections and grounds carefully. There's a lot of live juice in that system. I'm assuming that the bulb and relay are good, so it may possibly be something loose or corroded causing poor contact. ????
