It must be 15 or more years since I last posted on here. I had a 2002 TL-S that was tight fitting into my garage. When I Google for the dimensions of that car, I see L-W-H of 192.5-71.0-53.7 inches. My question is: does anyone know if the 71" Width dimension was for the body only or did it also include the side view mirrors? I'm looking for a new car now and would like to avoid making the fit even tighter. Anyone still on here know? Thanks.

 

I would guess that the indicated 71.0" TL width does not include the out folded side view mirrors.

The CL-S FSM indicates a 70.6" width for my car.
I used a tape measure and set the 70.6" edge at the driver side fender line, as I held the tape toward the passenger side, and the end of the tape came no where near the outside of the pass. side side view mirror.
