2000 TL Headlight Question

Hello.

Question. Im having an issue with my wife's headlights. The drivers side seemed to be a different color than the passenger side. I replaced the passengers side headlight, and it worked for a short time but noticed the night it was not working. It looked as though it was attempting to come on but would not. The drivers side works but did not look as bright.

Any ideas what is going on? Do I need to work on both headlights........if so, what needs replaced? Im hearing ignitor? and ballast?

That's what it sounds like.. Ballast.. But I could be wrong. Is there any condensation in there?

 

is the passenger side light flickering when you first turn them on or is it just not turning on.....

 

it may flicker for a brief second, but never comes on.

 

check the fuses under the hood on the passenger side.......i had a ballast go out and when it was replaced the light would flicker for a few seconds and not power on.....it was a 20 fuse that blew.....
