2 new bulbs, 1 new ballast, problem persists

2002 TL (not S-type)

Ive had the car since '06
Had Subs+Amp installed from previous car immediately and worked perfectly until last year.
My subs would cut in and out every 15-20 seconds leading me to believe that my beat was (subs or amp) went out so I took it out. My radio and stock speakers function correctly till this very day. Weeks after I removed the beat i noticed my drivers side low beam stopped working, To this day I have to turn my car off then on until i could get both to turn on. I read many threads and bought a new ballast and 2 new bulbs, even tried moving the ballast(s) around but I never get a different outcome.
It has been a very frustrating year and im hoping someone on here has the knowledge to help me out and point me in the right direction.

Thank you

Check your battery.
My lights were acting the same way as yours when the battery started to die.
I replaced it with the highest amp Optima RedTop I could find.
I think for you a YellowTop is good for your amps.

I went to the auto parts store and had my battery checked, turns out my battery was bad. i didnt want to spend 180-200 on a optima so i purchased the highest amp Interstate battery.I really thought it would fix the problem but my lights are still inconsistant. wtf

Have you thoroughly checked all of the connections for tightness and corrosion?
Maybe one of the HL relays is failing- try replacing it.

I have the same problem here. And 3 days after this problem started, my battery died completly. Replaced it with Interstate MTP-24 and problem is still there. And the day my headlights started having this issue, my alarm system showed some trouble sings too. When I arm the the system, the parking lights dont flash anymore neither the alarm sound indicator beeps when I press lock button twice. However when I unlock doors, it does flahs the lights. Does this happened to you to ?
